- ➤ A man allegedly tried to steal a gate latch on July 15 from a store on Horne Drive and was arrested Tuesday evening—deputies tracked him to a Dollar General on Babs Avenue near Second Street—and he now faces charges for third-degree theft and driving violations. Apple Valley News Now
