- ➤ The City of Richland will hold a ribbon cutting for the new Sturgeon Cove Playground at Howard Amon Park on Friday May 16th at 11 a.m. The playground features a paddle wheel cruise ship replica, expanded play areas, dueling ziplines, extra swings and sensory play equipment (with improved ADA accessibility) for all ages (designed with a nod to the Columbia River). - ➤ Richland Parks and Public Facilities Director Chris Waite led the 52 in '25 program that held park tours on April 23rd at 5:00 p.m. at Claybell Park and Amon Creek Park where community members met with a police commander and a park ranger.
