- ➤ Doug Tallman, owner of Amethyst Creamery in Richland, is still recovering from kidney cancer surgery and complications as he aims to reopen in January. Local support helped raise $15,000 so far and his goal rose to $20,000 to cover an extra month of expenses + care. The KEY

- ➤ Annika Samra, a Richland native and University of Washington student, works with Narcare to provide naloxone and overdose education to address the opioid crisis in local communities. The nonprofit, founded by UW students, aims to expand access to life-saving resources and reduce stigma in the Tri-Cities. FOX41 Yakima
- ➤ Researchers found that the new injectable eczema drug Nemolizumab provided itch relief within two days for three times as many patients as placebo and improved sleep for twice as many. The study reviewed data from nearly 2,300 participants and was funded by Galderma. FOX41 Yakima
