- ➤ A large tree blocked Red Mountain Road near Ridge Crest Drive in West Richland this evening. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Fire District 4, and local neighbors cleared the pavement, and drivers are advised to take caution due to high wind gusts. NBC Tri-Cities

- ➤ Multiple Washington roads are closed due to heavy flooding, including SR 203 between Carnation and Fall City, SR 162 near Carbon River, and a one-mile section on SR 906 near Hyak — West Richland is under a Level-3 flood warning. Drivers are urged to avoid detours and check travel advisories. KFLD
- ➤ Benton County Emergency Services warns the Yakima River will hit 15.38 feet by 4:00 a.m. Saturday, near the 2009 flood level, risking flooding for roads by Kingston/Jones and 46th in West Richland — sand and bags will be set up at Station 210.
