A national sub sandwich chain plans to open its fourth location in the Tri-Cities on George Washington Way in Washington Plaza — its new store will soon join the Richland outlet opened in 2021 and a Kennewick store alongside a Pasco location.

Richland High School senior Marjorie Bunch was awarded the Congressional Award Gold Medal by the U.S. Congress for meeting rigorous service, personal development, physical fitness and expedition requirements, as announced by the district on October 21.

She began her journey in 2022 and completed 400 service hours along with key milestones — including over 600 miles of travel in the Pacific Northwest.
