  • The Tri Cities Chaplaincy in Kennewick is undergoing a remodel that costs over $3 million — the hospice center is being upgraded with a new kitchen, living space, and fireside room and will finish by early next year. ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On October 8 at 2:27 p.m., firefighters responded to a blaze on Rattlesnake Ridge—north of Benton City that burned over 100 acres and was contained at about 118 acres with air support and dozers.   • On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to consider a challenge to Washington’s Climate Commitment Act— a cap and trade program that has raised nearly $3.5 billion since January for climate projects.
