- ➤ The Benton Clean Air Authority placed the area under an air quality advisory because smoke from five fires to the west and one to the south has worsened, causing burning eyes and runny noses. Residents are advised to reduce outdoor activity and stay indoors if possible — the advisory will continue until conditions improve. KONA

- ➤ Wildfire smoke from fires to the west and south has led the Benton Clean Air Authority to issue an air quality advisory in Richland with pollutant levels in the Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups range.
