Christ the King Sausage Fest will mark its 50th year on Friday, Sept.

18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 at Christ the King Church on Stevens Drive; visitors will enjoy German sausages, bierocks, funnel cakes, fresh corn, and a beer garden for adults—fun for the whole community.

Tumbleweed Music Festival celebrates 30 years at Howard Amon Park this Labor Day weekend with over 100 performances and up to 15 workshops (including a songwriting contest, Saturday night benefit concert, and Sunday evening contra dance) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Most events are free to the public.
