- ➤ Doug Tallman from Amethyst Creamery is facing serious health issues and lost his partner—he must take two months off work to treat kidney cancer and eye problems. - ➤ Makita recalled over 60,000 cordless grease guns and hoses after the Consumer Product Safety Commission found that a flexible hose may develop a hole during use—causing grease to fly and posing a risk of cuts. Consumers were advised to stop using the products and contact Makita for a free replacement, and while five injuries were reported worldwide, none occurred in the U.S. FOX41 Yakima

- ➤ According to the Bureau of Relamation’s September water forecast, senior water rights will receive full entitlements while junior water rights will get 40% plus Yakima basin reservoirs stood at 20% full with 218,000 acre-feet recorded on Sept 1. The report shows August precipitation was 3.45 inches, which is 109% of average and overall precipitation from October to August was 77% of average. The KEY

- ➤ On Sept. 4, the governors of California, Oregon and Washington announced a new West Coast Health Alliance that will offer independent vaccine recommendations separate from CDC guidelines— they plan to use evidence-based input from trusted scientists to ensure clear, credible information on vaccine safety and efficacy.
