- ➤ Construction resumed on Tuesday on the Dallas Road roundabouts project in Richland after a labor strike halted work on August 12—GAME Incorporated said work restarted on August 19. Trowbridge Boulevard was closed at the Dallas Road intersection with a detour via Gateway Avenue that will last about three weeks. Apple Valley News Now
- ➤ Washington’s attorney general Nick Brown and 17 states and the District of Columbia are suing the U.S. Department of Energy because a new rule limits reimbursements for state energy programs—this cap risks reducing funds for wildfire mitigation, energy efficiency, and grid resiliency, and the suit asks a judge to restore earlier funding agreements.
