Good morning, Richland.
🏛️ Government
The Richland City Council will vote on an ordinance on August 6 to reduce false alarm calls after DOJ and police data show that nearly 95–98 percent are false.
The measure will require alarm registration, enhanced call verification, and fines — steps that aim to free up police time for real emergencies.
