- ➤ On July 22, the Richland City Council held a workshop on new parking regulations following the passage of SB5184—proposals call for reducing parking spaces per dwelling from 1 to 2 to between 0.5 and 1 based on size. City planners noted national trends and said the changes will not affect larger commercial entities such as hotels and educational institutions. FOX41 Yakima
- ➤ Today, West Richland broke ground on a $33.7 million upgrade for State Road 224 that will add sidewalks, bike lanes, bus pull-outs — and five roundabouts along a 3.5-mile corridor.
