The City of Richland is moving forward with the third phase of its Intersection Safety Improvement Project as it begins building a mini-roundabout at Swift Boulevard and Wright Avenue — the intersection will be closed from June 11 through the end of July with a clearly marked detour guiding drivers. Other improvements include new signage, pavement markings, and traffic control enhancements at nearby intersections — an Advanced Warning System at Kennedy Road and Duportail Street will alert drivers of stopped or turning vehicles.
