- ➤ The Pasco Farmers Market will open on Saturday, May 9 in downtown Pasco at 426 West Lewis Street offering fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods and local produce. It will run from morning to early afternoon while other local markets are scheduled on different days. The KEY
- ➤ Pasco Firefighters rescued a stranded paddle boarder on the Columbia River after local resident Dylan Grad gave a ride to a crew member so the team could free the anchor + the department later thanked Grad for his quick help. NBC Tri-Cities
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews responded to seven brush fires along Highway 14 on May 5 after sparks from chains dragged by a semi-truck ignited vegetation near Paterson and the I-82 junction. Officials reported no structures were threatened and lanes closed by troopers were reopened after crews contained the fires. Apple Valley News Now
