Good morning, Richland.

Star Wars fans are gathering today at Richland’s Caterpillar Cafe to watch fan films hosted by the Tri-Fi Film Festival—attendees can enjoy themed drinks and dress as their favorite characters at the event held at Uptown Shopping Center.

The Richland City Council will review a resolution at its May 6 meeting to upgrade Duportail Street as part of the Transportation Improvement Program.

The project will add roundabouts, an access-control median, and extra lanes with traffic signal enhancements, and PBS Engineering and Environmental LLC was selected for design services under a $547,428 contract + funding from the Streets Capital Fund.
