ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On April 22nd, Ben Franklin Transit offered free bus rides for Earth Day while also celebrating School Bus Driver Appreciation Day and a veteran program that wraps buses to honor each military branch. FINANCE NEWS

  • Tariffs on imported building materials will raise home insurance costs later this year by adding about $106 to an average annual premium of $3,626, according to Insurify data — builders report that increasing material prices could lead to higher rates when policies are renewed. Homeowners may see these changes only once regulatory approval is granted for the premium hikes.  FOX41 Yakima
