- ➤ Janna Davis was attacked by two loose dogs near Lewis and Clark Elementary on March 28th before 6 a.m., suffering a broken ankle, many cuts and 13 lost teeth – a fundraiser has been set up to help with her medical bills since she cannot work or drive – as community members rally in support. - ➤ Kennewick police said Javier Santana was sentenced to 180 months—adding 60 months for a firearm enhancement—for the murder of Anibal Arreola, whose remains were found on March 3 near Vernita Bridge along the Columbia River and are awaiting DNA testing, with Santana having helped detectives locate the remains. - ➤ Kennewick Police arrested a 49-year-old man on Tuesday after he allegedly punched a woman withdrawing cash from an ATM and stole her purse outside a Bank of America on West Kennewick Avenue — officers from several agencies contained the area and booked him into Benton County Jail. - ➤ Richland School District announced that it will change library and health services for the 2025–26 school year.
