- ➤ The Wishing Star Foundation is spotlighting its 'Send a Friend a Goat' campaign to help grant wishes to kids and is accepting orders until Thursday, April 10th. NBC Tri-Cities
- ➤ The Wishing Star Foundation will host its 20th annual Send a Friend a Goat Week from April 14th to April 18th in the Tri-Cities—anyone can send a live baby goat to a friend for a $75 donation, with funds supporting local children battling serious illnesses. NBC Tri-Cities
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Richland School District announced changes for the 2025–26 school year as a district-level certified librarian will oversee six secondary libraries and current librarians will move back to teaching while paraprofessionals staff the libraries from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—the district will also cut six nurse positions although certified nurses will continue to provide specialized care in health rooms. - ➤ Travelers in Washington must present a compliant ID to fly and enter federal buildings starting May 7—TSA advises that those without valid ID arrive three hours ahead to complete the identity check.
