- ➤ Richland’s Leslie Groves Park will close its north and south parking lots on Snyder and Saint Streets from April 7th to April 11th for seal coating and paint work while workers address cracks in the pavement. The city says work is weather dependent and advises residents to use alternative parking directions available on the city website. KONA
- ➤ Travelers are hurrying to update their Real IDs by May 7 to board domestic flights—local DMV offices have extended hours and increased appointments to meet demand after federal officials delayed the deadline three times. FOX41 Yakima
- ➤ Today, WSDOT has launched an $8M project to improve SR 240 in Richland with new lanes, a noise wall and updated signals for safer travel. Work began near Moon River RV Resort in March and will extend to paving on Kingsgate, Battelle Boulevard and Stevens Drive this month, with reconstruction at the Hagen Road intersection in June and nightly closures until August—drivers should use the travel map to plan their trips.
