ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Richland Fire and Emergency Services contained a fire that started a quarter mile north of Ben Franklin Transit along SR240 near the Yakima River Bridge on March 24th at 3:15 p.m.—crews said some areas may smolder for days while officials coordinate with the US Army Corps of Engineers, who own 20 acres of land—and residents are asked to avoid the area and only call 911 for new emergencies. - ➤ A two-car crash occurred on I-182 westbound Monday, March 24, when both vehicles rolled down a 100-foot embankment near George Washington Way interchange — Washington State Patrol investigated the incident and towed both vehicles with no injuries reported. NBC Tri-Cities
