Travelers in Washington have received scam text messages that claim an unpaid toll and direct recipients to fake websites to collect personal information — WSDOT said Good To Go! will never ask for payment by texting and urged caution to avoid these schemes.

Kennewick officers responded on March 20 to an incident at an apartment parking lot when a man with a large knife sprinted at an officer; both officers fired, hitting him and he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and he will be booked for first degree assault upon his release—while a Special Investigations Unit and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office investigate the shooting.
