- ➤ Over the weekend, Richland Police conducted emphasis patrols at four trouble spots—Keene Road, the State Route 240 Interchange, Columbia Park Trail and George Washington Way—and stopped 74 drivers while arresting 3 for charges linked to speeding and reckless driving under a state traffic safety initiative. - ➤ The Washington State Department of Transportation says drivers must remove studded tires by the end of Monday, March 31 to avoid a potential fine of $137—studded tires are allowed only from November 1 to March 31 with no waivers given.
