- ➤ Pasco hosts its Annual Taco Crawl from Apr. 17 to May 2, where participants can sample 20 tacos from local vendors to support the Boys and Girls Clubs. Downtown Pasco serves as pickup, and taco lovers will vote for the best taco by May 4— with results on May 5. KONA
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Richland Public Library hosts the annual high school art show featuring more than 250 artworks from 13 school districts through March 12, with an artists' open house from 4 pm to 5:15 pm and a public awards ceremony at Richland High School at 5:30 pm on March 12. KONA
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Coyote Canyon Mammoth Site in Kennewick is readying a spring season of two‐hour tours at the Dig House where visitors learn about mammoths and Ice Age fossils. Volunteers and school groups will join digs + research seeks to uncover more remains. KEPR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will hold a public meeting on March 17 at the Kennewick Irrigation District Office from 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss proposed salmon and steelhead fishing seasons (community input is encouraged). NBC Tri-Cities

- ➤ The Tri-Cities Ironman run course was voted best in the world by tens of thousands of athletes, and local competitor Jennifer Comfort — who has completed three Ironman races — praised its challenging terrain while Visit Tri-Cities CEO Kevin Lewis expressed community pride in the scenic route.
