GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Washington State Senate passed Senate Bill 5919 to foster partnerships between fire districts and insurance companies so farmers can earn discounts for fire prevention measures (like defensible space and water management). - ➤ Richland EMS will soon carry emergency blood supplies in vehicles to allow transfusions before reaching hospitals. To support the effort, EMS & Fire will host a blood drive Tuesday, Mar. 31 at Fire Station #74, 2710 Duportail St. from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The KEY
- ➤ A recall of Ore-Ida Tater Tots and Sysco Imperial Potato Tater Barrels is ongoing because clear hard plastic fragments might be present, so residents should check freezers and return products to the purchase location for a refund.
