- ➤ Doug Tallman of Amethyst Creamery faced new treatment infections after years of setbacks, including his wife's passing and his own serious diagnoses. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews have begun removing the century-old causeway linking Bateman Island to the mainland as part of a $13.2 million project aimed at restoring natural water flow and improving salmon habitat. - ➤ Hanford contractors finished digging a new disposal area at the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility and will install an engineered liner in spring to protect groundwater, while Bechtel National installed steel beams for the Waste Treatment Plant roof so that systems for stabilizing high-level waste can be added.
